Health and Wellbeing
The Parent Council Health and Wellbeing Group works closely with the school on matters concerning the emotional/ mental health and wellbeing of all pupils at Sciennes.
The group is currently chaired by Depute Head Teacher, Carolyn Anstruther and parent Fiona Denvir. If you have any questions or concerns, please email them at scienneshwb@gmail.com.
Mental Health
Following the success of our Mental Health Awareness Week last year, the Health and Wellbeing group are planning another full programme of events for parents, teachers and pupils from 14th May – 18th May 2018.

Physical Education
We are extremely fortunate to have two highly qualified and experienced P.E. Specialists, Mrs Beth Walker and Mrs Cynthia Berry, delivering high quality lessons three days per week.
Keeping Myself Safe
Principal Teacher Ms Shona Pearmain produced our whole school P1-P7 Personal Safety programme.

RSHP is a key part of the Health and Wellbeing curriculum in Scotland for building respectful relationships.
