As some of you may know I am a voluntary Explorer Scout Leader in Edinburgh. In Summer 2013 I am taking a group of 45 teenagers to Nepal on a four-week development expedition. A major element of this expedition will be service work in the village of Chhangpatan. Primarily we will be working with the local community and primary school to improve the fabric of the school and construct new facilities.
In order to fund this work we are currently holding a lucky lottery. Tickets cost £12 each and will be entered into 12 monthly prize draws for £100 (Making a total prize fund of £1200). If you would like to support our work in Nepal and buy a ticket then please put £12 in an envelope marked for Mr Hewitt and drop it into the school office. Please enclose your child’s name and class and I will send out the ticket by return. Â
