PLEASE think about volunteering for the Schools Streets Scheme this term!

It’s a perfect time to experience the benefits that helping out on the streets brings – keeping the children safe, improving the air quality around the school, chatting to people you know and meeting those you don’t, feeling a sense of satisfaction that you are making a difference. And with spring here it’s great to feel the sun on your face first thing in the morning.

There are still only about 10 people who volunteer regularly, and with Ms Christie retiring and  some of us leaving the school community at the end of this term, we really need some more volunteers if we are to keep the scheme going. You will be fully supported and / or buddied until you feel confident.
