Summer Fair donations needed
Thank you to all of the parents/carers who have signed up to lead on our stalls and activities so far for our upcoming Summer Fair on the 1stt of June from 12pm-3pm.
In order to make our fair as successful as possible we would love it if families could donate the following items for various stalls. We appreciate your help and support so much.
We need your pre-loved bikes: We need donations of bikes, scooters, helmets, bike locks. We will have someone on the day to check and condition bikes before they are sold.
Items for our tombola: this can be anything from bottles of wine, spirits, chocolates, gift items, toiletries, to books, to food items. Please check donated items are in date. Our tombola is always very successful and an excellent fundraiser.
Donations of pre-loved uniform, books: the children love rummaging through these stalls and this is an ideal opportunity to have a little clear out.
Donations of pre-loved toys: donate and recycle toys please
Donations of homebaking, jams and chutneys: We have always been impressed by the quality of donations from our families. We hope this year will be just as impressive! Please label any allergens you are aware of. Please drop these off on the Friday the 30th or at the fair.
Prosecco: our summer Prosecco and Pimms stand was very popular last year Please drop these off on the week of the 26th.
Plants: The summer fair plant stall needs your donations!
Yourself: We need volunteers to help out on the day, with stalls and activities. You can sign up to specific duties on this Doodlepoll: https://doodle.com/poll/95ytih9rna59nezf
All donations (except for perishable items) can be handed into the school office at your convenience.
Thank you everyone for your support.
Clothing: Also, as the theme this year involves reduce, reuse and recycle, one of our Sciennes’ mums Caroline McKellar is collecting donations of clothing which will then be distributed to children in disadvantaged areas of the city. Particularly in demand are warm winter clothes and shoes so ideal timing if you are having a summer clear out.
